Another branch of New Leaf Stitches

Today’s the Day!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the first day of the book blog hop for my new book,

“Just Around the Corner, Quilts with Easy Mitered Borders”!

The real fun will be over the next 5 days.  I feel so blessed to have lined up these kind, talented women to help.

To kick-start the week we begin out West with SewCalGal.  Darlene, the woman behind this well-known blog, will be sharing her review of the book.

We travel back East on Tuesday to hear from the famous Pat Sloan.  Pat asked me some pretty interesting questions…make sure you visit her blog to learn the answers!

Wednesday finds us with sweet, sweet Heidi Kaisand in Iowa.  The genius behind Hen & Chicks Studio will be sharing her tutorial of the mitering technique featured in the book.

From rural Iowa, Thursday finds us in the desert of Nevada.    Super creative Sherri, from A Quilting Life,  will share her take on the versatility of the mitering technique found in the book.

Friday brings us back home to Rosebud’s Cottage in Minnesota.  Roseann, one of the most energetic people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, will be talking about some of the projects in the book.  I can hardly wait to hear what she has to say!

Each day the guest blogger will also share with you their favorite project in the book along with a  place “just around the corner” that they enjoy in their neighborhood.

As a thank you for spending the week with us, you have the chance to win one of 6 books that will be given away by each of the bloggers.  All you need to do is leave comments in order to be eligible!

Thank you Martingale/That Patchwork Place for providing these books!

Oh yeah…because Clearly Perfect Angles is featured in the book you have a chance to win one of those too!

Sew…check back tomorrow when the fun starts.

Wishing you joy in whatever may be “just around the corner”.  Kari
